Survival Kit

The key questions you need to ask yourself when choosing a Survival Kit are:  What survival items do I really need?  What are the items in the kit or kits that I am looking at?  How many of the items I need are included in the kit?  What else do I need to complete my survival kit?  Personally, I have yet to see a survival kit that offers everything that I feel I need.

I see these kits as “starting points” for preparing my own survival kit.  My guess is you will feel the same way.  My suggestion to you is for you to look for a kit that provides at least some of the items you want, purchase that kit, and then supplement the kit by adding the other items that you feel you need yourself.  Depending on your personal needs, you may want to purchase two or three different kits and use the combined items to satisfy most of your survival kit needs.

To help you find a “starting point” survival kit, I am recommending below several kits that  offer some of the survival items that you are probably looking for.
